A monthly series at Hudson’s historic Park Theater. First Thursday of each month.

A Galère of Poetic Autopsies is held the first Thursday of each month at Hudson’s historic Park Theater. Expect the unexpected as poets, writers, and other creatives from the Hudson area and beyond reveal the inspiration and shadows behind their work.

REBECCA R. BORRER creates music, writing, and other expressions to process life here in the 21st Century. She is a cofounder of Community Rave Network as well as the band Gushy and regularly DJs and performs under the moniker RAGER which is also her pseudonym.

JENNIFFER CLAROSCURA is a Peruvian consciousness explorer, writer, film director, and musician. As a dream guide she specializes in deep-level dreamwork and shadow work. Jenniffer’s journey in the arts began in Lima, Peru with music and photography. After a few years of moving to the US, she ventured into film. Her short film, “Infinity in a Dream” is available to members at IASD (International Association For The Study of Dreams). Jenniffer is currently living in Hudson, NY with her husband and two kids. She is writing a book and working on a new album.

DAVID LAWTON is the author of the poetry collection Sharp Blue Stream (Three Rooms Press) and the chapbook Inspiritive (Moonstone Arts). David is a graduate of the theatre program at Boston University, where he was also a Guest Artist in the graduate play writing classes taught by Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott. For ten years he was a background vocalist in the New York underground band Leisure Class. At the band’s de facto headquarters in the Chelsea Hotel, he befriended Beat godfather Herbert Huncke and San Francisco poet Marty Matz, and was inspired by their embodiment of the written word. David also serves as an editor for great weather for MEDIA, and collaborates with poets Aimee Herman and Eric Alter in the poemusic collective Hydrogen Junkbox.
